Over the years we have received requests for ¼ IPS tapped lamp sockets.
This size, not being in great demand, is more expensive than 1/8 IPS sockets. Except
for the ¼ IPS tapped cap, all other specifications are identical to those listed for the
same socket in the 1/8 IPS. ¼ IPS sockets are used mostly on floor lamps.
